JANUARY AND FEBRUARY CALENDARS
Holy Spirit calendars for the months of January and February are available in the narthex. If you want to have a look at what's coming up click this link parish calendars.
ALTAR FLOWERS
As many of your heard last week, we lost over $600.00 in 2011 from our flower budget. Some of the loss incurred was from HST, and some was from flowers that were ordered and not paid for. Therefore, we are raising the cost of the flowers to accommodate this. Beginning in February, Altar Flowers will cost $50.00, inclusive of the tax. It is always possible to share the cost of flowers, and we encourage you to do so if this is helpful. If this is the case, both dedications will be put in the bulletin on Sunday. Flowers must be paid for two weeks in advance, and your dedication must be given to the office two weeks in advance as well, as bulletins are done at that time. Please note your request on the 2012 Altar Flower Chart which is located on the large bulletin board at the back of the church. The Rector and Wardens appreciate your understanding in this matter.

COFFEE HOUR HOSTS
Coffee Hour is one of our most important ministries of Hospitality
(after the Eucharist), but we are in need of more Coffee Hour Hosts.
Currently we only have 10 active Coffee Hosts! While everyone enjoys
their hospitality and refreshments, we all need to share in the workload
or we will lose our current Hosts as well. If you are able to only
bring in food and refreshments, please speak to one of the current Coffee
Hosts who can assist you. Please consider becoming a Coffee
Host: join with a friend and share the responsibility! Sign up sheet is on the easel in the Narthex.
EXCITING NEWS!
Last Sunday January 22, at 12:00 noon, The Church of the Holy Spirit
welcomed the Igbo Prayer Group to the Basil Tonks Room. Over 30
adults and children attended. This is a group of our fellow Anglicans from Nigeria who wish to gather in worship in their own language, and
using their own customs, from the Anglican Church in Nigeria, as a way to keep their language and customs alive for their children. It is our hope and prayer that this group may grow into a full fledged Anglican Church one way! In the meantime, we are thrilled to welcome
them into our church and our parish!.
“CELEBRATION” SUNDAYS
The first Sunday of the month has been designated to celebrate all the positive events in the lives our parish members such as birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, engagements, weddings etc. Please continue to submit your information either by email, the sign up sheet in the Narthex or by giving your information to Wardens or Rev. Judith.
